In this video you’ll find everything you need to know about Camana Bay’s Hurricane Parking programme |
Logo shows over a background of clouds |
from important points to consider before the storm to what |
|
to expect during and after the storm has passed. |
|
Once you’ve registered your vehicle and made payment, |
Pan down to the side view of a white car. |
your vehicle spot is secured in the safety of Camana Bays solid parking garages. |
The car drives forwards into a parking garage |
Parking tags will be distributed or made available for collection before the start of hurricane season. |
Cut to a visual of a parking pass being handed over |
You will need to show this at drop off, so hanging up your permit on your rearview mirror is a good way to ensure it doesn’t get lost. |
Cut to see the parking pass handing from the rearview mirror of the car |
When a hurricane warning is issued, an email will be sent with instructions and designated drop off location. |
Cut to a street view, with a hand holding a mobile phone. A warning pops up with a notification saying “Instructions” |
Before dropping off your car, it’s wise to organise alternative transportation |
Cut to view two cars, the original white on, and a yellow one with the label “Alternative Transport”. The yellow car then drives away. |
Also ensure valuables are removed from your vehicle and |
A mobile phone, keys and a coin are shown above the white car. |
you fuel up ahead of drop off in the event gas stations are down post storm. |
A gas cannister appears above the car with the wording “Pro Tip: Store extra supplies and spare clothes in your vehicle” |
In the height of the storm, it’s important you stay informed. |
Pan up to the clouds and the words “What you need to know during the storm” |
Keep your banks and solar devices charged |
A graphic showing a plugged-in charger and the battery increasing. |
so you receive our updates about vehicle collection once the storm passes. |
A phone slides up next to the charger with notification with the word “updates”. This pans to the right to show the words “What you need to know after the storm” |
Within 24 to 36 hours after the all clear is given, |
We go back to the white car in the parking garage, with a clock spinning to show the time passing. |
you will receive an email to collect your vehicle. |
The clock is replaced by a notification with the words “Collect your car” |
It’s important you bring a valid id with you in order to collect your vehicle. |
Various forms of ID slide up in front of the car with the words “No ID, No car!” |
If you cannot collect your vehicle, send a trusted friend or family member with a signed authorization letter. |
A hand holding a letter replaces the ID’s, with the wording “Attach a copy or digital version of your ID to the letter” |
We know it may take time to get to us and your car only travel if roads are safe and let us know if you cannot get your vehicle within five days. |
The letter disappears, and we are back to the side view of the white car, which proceeds to leave the parking garage |
We hope this answers all your questions on our Hurricane Parking programme. |
We see the road, and the word “Questions?” appears |
If not, your property management team is here to help at pmhelpdesk@dart.ky at any time. |
